Description
Responsibility:
Directs work of the nursing assistants; administers medication, injections, and routine treatments; may make staff assignments; assists in the evaluation of the clients’s care; accepts doctors orders for clients; notifies appropriate personnel of pertinent changes in clients condition; assists with general health care; observes and records signs and symptoms of changes in clients condition or behavior; assess environment.
Contracts:
The “Expicare L.P.N. Transitional Program”, is available to R.N. nursing students who are one half way through the R.N. program and wish to take the L.P.N. boards. Expicare will pay for you to take your L.P.N. boards so that upon passing you may work for Expicare at a pre-arranged rate during your 2nd year of R.N. school.
